EPISODE #112 – “WET &AND WILD”SAFETY EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE – WATER SAFETY PRO-SOCIAL EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE – FACING FEARS The Danger Rangers take what they plan to be a relaxing cruise ship vacation. But while trying to calm down the hyperactive Brayski Brothers and helping Alicia, a young girl, overcome her fear of the water and learn to swim, the Danger Rangers get very little rest and relaxation. In the end, viewers, the Brayski Brothers and Alicia learn the essentials of water safety, including the importance of learning to swim; being considerate of others in the water, including being sure not to scare, splash, push or injure them; the value of wearing life vests and other safety equipment; the necessity of following rules, including only swimming in marked areas under adult supervision, not running around pools, being sure to dive in deep water only, and paying attention to pool safety lines; swimming with a buddy; and wearing sunglasses with UVA and UVB protection to protect eyes when in the sun.
